Valve is the most common and most commonly used ball valve, we are not unfamiliar with ball valves, so how should we carry out effective maintenance and maintenance of it?

1, ball valve should ensure that one person can operate without adding force rod, such as unable to operate or difficult operation need to handle the valve.

2, must first find out the ball valve, downstream pipeline has been removed pressure, before disassembly and decomposition operation.

3, decomposition and reassembly must be careful to prevent damage to the sealing surface of parts, especially non-metallic parts, remove the O-ring when using special tools.

4, ball valve non-metallic parts should be removed from the cleaning agent immediately after cleaning, do not soak for a long time.

5, after cleaning to be washed wall surface cleaning agent after volatilization (can not soak cleaning agent silk wipe) for assembly, but shall not be used for a long time, otherwise it will rust, dust pollution.

6, ball valve new parts before assembly also need to clean.

7, use grease lubrication. Grease should be compatible with ball valve metal materials, rubber parts, plastic parts and working media.

When ball valve reassembly with the specified torque locking stem nut, should not allow metal debris, fiber, grease (except for the specified use) dust and other impurities, foreign matters and other pollution, adhesion or stay on the surface of parts or into the cavity.

After the installation of the actuator, input the corresponding signal through the rotation of the valve stem to drive the spool rotation, so that the valve to open and close the position. If possible, pressure seal test and performance test the valve according to relevant standards before reinstalling the pipe.
